Membership to the Cricket's Nest is open to residents of Forsyth County who are a minimum of 55 years of age. As a member he or she may sell their handmade crafts at the shop. There is a nominal annual membership fee.

The Cricket’s Nest Craft Shop opened in 1976 with 73 members and 315 square feet of shop space. Over 2700 craftsmen have sold thousands of hand made items in the shop since 1976. The shop now has 2800 square feet of shop space displaying more than 4000 craft items made by 470+ active members.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Cricket's Nest should come by the shop and make application.
